Grading Scale

Here are the letters grades that your child will receive in 3rd grade. 
O=   100-90
S+=   89-85
S=     84-75
S-=    74-70
N=     69 & below

Purple “Take Home” Folder

This purple folder will go home with the student everyday.  Please send the folder every morning with the student’s homework and any other forms.  If you have a note for me, you can send it in this folder.  The students put their folder in their designated mailbox and then we pack it up to go home at the end of the day.

Snack/Treats

We will have snack daily. Please feel free to send a healthy snack.  If you would like to send in a treat to celebrate a special occasion, the school policy requires that they are non-edible. Birthdays are celebrated in our classroom on the day of your child’s birthday.  If your child’s birthday falls on a weekend, it is up to the student to decide if they would like to celebrate it on Friday or Monday.

Study Island Website

Study Island is a site that is designed to help prepare the students for the Illinois State Achievement Test.  All the students are registered, so please encourage them to use it!  Parents may help the students.
