Zero Homework Grade Policy
If an assignment has not been completed a week after it was due, a zero will be placed in the gradebook. However, the zero grade can be changed if the assignment is completed and returned at least three days before quarter end. I reserve the right to deduct points for lateness, however I will give a student some credit for completing the assignment.
The reason I place the zero in the gradebook is so the student can see the impact of a zero grade on his/her overall grade. I am hoping the student will take the opportunity to complete the work.
