Superintendent
Welcome to the Millburn community!
It’s both an honor and a privilege to serve as your superintendent. My family and I have been fortunate to call Millburn home since 2003. When we moved here, our oldest child was just a one year old. Now, all three of our children have navigated their way through the Millburn District, and they are continuing to thrive in high school and beyond.
I am deeply grateful for the educational opportunities Millburn has provided to my children, as well as for the supportive community that played a part in their growth. I’m also thankful for the investments our community has made to continually improve the learning experiences for all of our children, ensuring that each generation receives a better education than the one before.
While our schools, classrooms, technology, and even our buses have evolved over the years, one thing has remained constant: community. Of course, like any community, we face challenges, disagreements, and differing perspectives. However, in times when many of our trusted institutions seem uncertain, community is what anchors us. It’s the foundation that keeps us strong. While we may not always agree on every issue, we must come together in difficult times with a shared focus on what truly matters: our children.
When your child enters a Millburn school, you can be confident that they will be both loved and challenged. We strive to understand each child as an individual, to care for them, and to push them to exceed their own expectations. Our district’s goals, school improvement plans, and initiatives all revolve around these two guiding principles: Love and Challenge.
Welcome to the Millburn School Community! We are a community that rises above personal ambitions, self-interest, and limited resources to provide an exceptional education for every child.
